Refunds, Cancellations & Returns

Borrowed Moments Co. offers both rental services and digital resources, so refund, cancellation, and return policies vary depending on what you have booked or purchased.
The information below provides our general policy. Additional terms may be included in a rental agreement, invoice, product listing, checkout page, or third-party marketplace. When transaction-specific terms are provided, those terms also apply.
Rental Reservations & Cancellations
A 50% deposit is required to reserve rental dates with Borrowed Moments Co.
Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and refund terms for a rental are provided in the rental agreement associated with that reservation. Customers are encouraged to review those terms carefully before signing and submitting payment.
Because inventory is reserved for specific dates and may become unavailable to other customers once a reservation is confirmed, refunds are not automatically available for cancellations or changes.
If you need to cancel or modify a reservation, please contact us as soon as possible.
Early Rental Returns
Returning rental equipment before the scheduled end of a rental period does not automatically qualify the reservation for a partial refund or prorated rental rate.
Rental pricing reserves the equipment for the agreed rental period, whether or not the customer chooses to use the equipment for the entire period.
Extensions & Late Returns
If you need additional time with your rental, please contact Borrowed Moments before your scheduled return or pickup.
Extensions are subject to inventory availability and any applicable extension fees.
Equipment kept beyond the agreed rental period without an approved extension may be subject to late fees or other charges outlined in the rental agreement.
Rental Equipment Returns
All rented totes, lids, carts, dollies, and other equipment remain the property of Borrowed Moments Co. and must be returned according to the terms of the rental agreement.
Customers may be responsible for charges related to missing, lost, excessively dirty, damaged, or otherwise unusable rental equipment when applicable.
Specific cleaning, damage, replacement, and late-return terms are provided in the rental agreement.
Digital Products & Downloads
Because digital products can generally be accessed or downloaded immediately after purchase, digital purchases are typically considered final once the files or materials have been delivered or made available.
This may include guides, workbooks, templates, spreadsheets, checklists, toolkits, educational materials, and other downloadable resources.
However, we want you to receive what you purchased.
If you:
Receive the wrong file
Have trouble accessing your purchase
Receive a damaged or unusable file
Are missing part of your purchase
Experience another technical issue with your order
please contact us so we can help resolve the problem.
Third-Party Marketplace Purchases
Some Borrowed Moments products may be purchased through third-party marketplaces or platforms.
Purchases made through another platform may also be subject to that platform's refund, cancellation, dispute, and purchase policies. When applicable, refund requests may need to be submitted through the platform where the purchase was completed.
Business Resources, Coaching & Other Services
If Borrowed Moments offers coaching, consulting, workshops, custom services, or other scheduled business services, any cancellation, rescheduling, or refund terms specific to that service will be provided at the time of booking or purchase.
Exceptions
We may review unusual circumstances individually when appropriate. Any exception we choose to make in one situation does not permanently change this policy or require the same exception in future situations.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
